We love wearing hats and have picked out our top five Occasions to wear a hat. Read on to see why and what we will be wearing on our heads this year!
An occasion does not mean an opportunity too fancy or even a big event.
On this occasion my Daughter is taking some much needed time out in the shade. We had been trailing the markets of Gran Canaria and searching for shawls and other trinkets to take home as gifts. Although we set out early before the afternoon sun set in, the rays were still awfully bright and obviously strong. Travel shopping is always a great occasion to remember your hat.
In the garden
We never know how the traditional English weather is going to treat us. If you are a keen gardener and spend a lot of time outside pottingĀ and planting then perhaps you should protect the nape of your neck from the sun. Sunstroke is increasingly popular in the UK.
On holiday
The most important occasion to wear a hat for us is on holidays or whilst traveling. Our Daughter is almost five and we always have an abundance of spare hats to cover ourselves from the heat, sun or even rain. A wide rimmed hat saves for wearing sunglasses which can sometimes be clumsy on kids.
Hats at festivals
We are so excited to be heading to camp Bestival this year and will certainly be taking a selection of hats to match our themed outfits! DressĀ code this year at Camp B is pop stars and rock stars so it will be the perfect occasion to wear a hat. And Finally
Hats for selfies! Clear images with big imagination input is what helps make a great travel blogger. Adding props to an image really makes a picture stand out. I love having photographs taken in hats and have collected some really good thumbnail images over the years.
